It was a very good date, and I tossed my purse onto the kitchen island and hit the master bedroom to change into my jammies as soon as we&nbsp;&nbsp;got home. Shortly thereafter, I walk into the kitchen, and he\u2019s staring at my purse as though it contains a small demon. That\u2019s silly, of course, because I keep my pet demon in the left cup of my bra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I step closer, and I hear my phone\u2019s ringtone. It\u2019s the music of the fairies from <em>Labyrinth<\/em>. I realize he\u2019s never heard it before (that he remembers), and to him, it sounds &#8230; somehow dangerous. Sweet, slightly mystical, with an implied threat woven amongst the charm of the bells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TMc: <em>It\u2019s my phone, baby. No worries. I\u2019ll check it in a minute.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DMc: It sounds &#8230; problematic. That ringtone. I don\u2019t like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TMc: <em>You\u2019d rather my default ringtone be the opening riff from Heart\u2019s \u2018Barracuda\u2019?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DMc: Yes, please. At least you <strong><em>know<\/em><\/strong> you\u2019re about to be in trouble with that one.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DMc and I just got back from having dinner out.
